BRENNA SIMPSON (She/Her)
as Detective Fred Herring
After graduating from Guildford School of Acting, Welsh actor-singer Brenna’s bread and butter has been immersive and interactive theatre, which really keeps her on her toes. Credits include: Phantom Peak, the live experiences of Tomb Raider & Taskmaster, and The Loxwood Joust. Most recently, she’s had a few very contrasting roles: from our all-seeing hilarious Detective, to the eponymous role in King Lear, for which she is nominated for Best Lead Performance in the UK Fringe Theatre Awards. Above all, Brenna loves playing “just a silly little guy”, and bringing every ounce of energy and warmth she has to each rehearsal room.

RORY HINCHLIFFE (He/Him)
as P.C World
Rory is a Brighton-based actor and musician, originally from Whitstable, Kent. He has been involved in theatre from a young age, with much of his experience coming from youth productions, and has continued to develop his craft across a range of performances. Murder at the Manor marks his first adult production. Alongside his acting work, he also creates music and is currently a student at BIMM where he is finishing his studies this year. He is passionate about live performance and enjoys collaborating with others to bring productions to life.

JOSH HARDS (He/Him)
as Fry Day
Josh studied Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent. As part of Tea and Toast Improv, he has performed in Dublin and Belfast at the Ireland Improv Festival, at the Brighton Fringe, and in Barcelona at the BIG Sing Musical Improv Festival. He is also part of Unbridled, performing improvised Jilly Cooper novels, RKDA, the AndAlso improv house team, and Topping and Hards, a sketch duo with an upcoming Brighton Fringe show. He is excited to be taking the next big step for Murderers Anonymous by starting their first tour with their fourth production.

JUSTINE SMITH (She/Her)
as May Day
Discovering acting in the last 10 years or so, Justine has attended training with Impulse Company (Meisner technique) and completed 1 year at Philippe Gaulier ecole. Her performances include Alta, Language Archives; Miss Haversham, Great Expectations; Mrs Saunders and Gerry, Cloud Nine; Aunt Juliana, Hedda Gabler; Rosie Probert, Under Milkwood; Oberon, Revenge of the Amazons; Penny in Operation Black Antler in the Brighton Festival; Loud Woman and Tea Woman in Mixie; Brigida in Heresy of Love; and Mrs Alexander and chorus in the curious incident of the dog in the night-time. With this character, May Day, Justine has had fun combining bigotry with some playful clowning about.

ELY LA RUE (She/Her)
as BonBon Baguette
Ely has been involved in local theatre in her hometown Lydd, Kent, since the age of fifteen, taking to the stage in numerous pantomimes- most often as the lovably silly and hopeless “Buttons” character. Her past credits include: Buttons in Cinderella, The Cat in Dick Whittington, Captain Hook in Peter Pants and Cecily in The Importance of Being Ernest. This production marks the fourth murder mystery comedy she has written, produced and performed in alongside long-time collaborator Josh Hards. She wrote and performed her first murder mystery comedy in Lydd when she was nineteen.

SIMON GOODWAY (He/Him)
as Robin Banks
Simon is an improv comedian who runs the monthly improv show Scoops in Brighton. He’s been a member of the improv group Tea & Toast for a decade (almost), with which he regularly performs in Brighton and elsewhere. He doesn’t usually do things where he has to learn lines because he’s lazy, but Josh and Ely are very persuasive, so here he is.

ALEC CRANE (He/Him)
as Sonny Day
Alec is a Welsh comedian and all around silly billy. He was in loads of productions during university but stopped once he graduated and finding the advert to audition for Murder at the Manor (9 years after uni) was such a life changing moment.
He’s doing loads in the Brighton fringe and the Rik Mayall Comedy Festival which you can see at the link below:

GRACIE STACEY (She/Her)
as Summer Nights
Gracie Stacey is a recent Drama, Theatre and Performance BA graduate of the University of Sussex. Over the years she has received various theatre training such as a Musical Theatre short course at the Royal Academy of Drama Arts. Recently Gracie has started a new adventure as a vocal coach in a production of High School Musical and can’t wait to explore that path more in the future. With her first professional gig being the pantomime, Santa Claus and the Return of Jack Frost at The Mayflower Theatre, it’s been a pleasure for Gracie to return to comedy in such a fun and exciting show.

TRUFFLES (He/Him)
as Himself
A graduate from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Truffles specialises in physical theatre and takes great inspiration from Brecht. He is thrilled to be back on stage after a brief two year hiatus to “find himself” in Thailand. His credits include: Toto (understudy) in The Wizard of Oz, Rumtumtugger (understudy) in Cats and Dog Toy (Unintentionally).
